Chahully at the Botanical Gardens Phoenix, AZ

Nikole and I spent the afternoon seeing the Chahully exhibit at the Botanical Gardens. It was raining a bit but decided to chance it and check it out. I had seen the exhibit when it was at the De Young in SF and expected it to be the same thing, BUT on the contrary it was very different. Some of the pieces where the same but they were all in the setting of the botanical garden. The juxtaposition of the smooth sexy glass contrasted with the prickly thorns of the cactuses were magnificent. One striking feature was since it was all outside, the changing light from the clouds danced around and through the glass like a elf leading us through the garden!
